Takes Tūī to Tango

Takes Tūī to Tango is a 2D Top-down Shooter game made in Unity. The game incorporates New Zealand themes and ideas, as well as a pixel-art style and a whimsical atmosphere to the game. 

Takes Tūī to Tango is about a Tūī bird that leaves the nest and gets injured. Stranded from home, the player needs to find it’s way back home to its mate. But the forest-floor is treacherous, dangerous, so the Tūī will need to fight its way through common NZ predators.

It was made in 2022 for my first-ever university project, so its pretty bad!
